UCC HAITI EARTHQUAKE APPEAL HOW CAN YOU HELP?

The news from Haiti is heartbreaking.  How can you help?

Pray for the people of Haiti, especially those who have lost loved ones and the rescue workers.  Write a check to First United Church of Tampa.  We will send the funds to the Florida Conference of the UCC.  Or, you may send a check directly to Wider Church Ministries, United Church of Christ, 700 Prospect Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115.  (If you write a check to the church or send one to WCM, be sure to write "OGHS Haiti Earthquake Relief" in the memo line.)

Please bring some of the following items to our church retreat on Saturday, January 23 at 10:00AM:

Hand towels
Washcloths
Wide-tooth combs
Nail clippers
Bars of soap (bath size)
Standard size Band-Aids
Cloth diapers
T-shirts or undershirts
Gowns or sleepers
Diaper pins
Sweaters or sweatshirts (can be hand-knitted or crocheted)
Blankets
